Architecture and Interior Design Firm

BAUER ASKEW Architecture, pllc is commemorating it’s 30th anniversary year as an award-winning design firm whose work has been recognized at the local, state, and national levels. The firm was established in 1995 by Tom Bauer, AIA, LEED AP (BArch, Auburn University, ’84), and was joined in 2003 by his former classmate and colleague, Garry Askew, AIA, LEED AP (BArch, Auburn University, ’84), following twelve years as a founding partner in a large local firm. Together, they have built a practice grounded in quality design and personalized attention.

Bauer Askew Architecture is founded upon a deep commitment to projects that enrich civic, educational, and spiritual life—projects that leave a meaningful and enduring impact on the communities they serve. These experiences have inspired a continued focus on creating architecture with lasting purpose—spaces that are not only functional and beautiful, but that also foster connection, identity, and long-term value. As the firm looks to the future, Bauer Askew Architecture remains dedicated to expanding on these project types, shaping environments that support learning, reflection, and public life for generations to come.
