What is a personal brand? A personal brand is the unique and authentic image, reputation, and perception that individuals intentionally cultivate and present to the world, both personally and professionally. It represents who you are, what you stand for, your values, expertise, and how you differentiate yourself from others. Essentially, it's the story and impression that people associate with you as an individual.
 

About Kim James
Kim James serves as the Executive Director for the Young Leaders Council. With more than 15 years of extensive community relations, program management, donor engagement, and communications experience, Kim is a graduate of Fisk University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in financial economics before obtaining a master’s degree in business administration from Tennessee State University in 2003. She is the 2018 recipient of the Women in Leadership of Central Illinois’ Woman Leader of the Year Award and a 2018 graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School.
